Everything Connected: Land, Body, Cosmos Exhibition

Sat, Oct 9, 20216:00 PM Wed, Nov 24, 20215:00 PM

Our annual Día de los Muertos exhibition is one of the highlights of the season, and this year is no exception! Join us for the opening of Everything Connected: Land, Body, Cosmos, curated by our 2021 Commemorative Print Artist, Miyo Stevens-Gandara on Saturday, October 9 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. in our gallery. The exhibition will run from October 9 – November 24, 2021 and the public may view the exhibition by appointment on Eventbrite.

The in-person exhibition pairs nine visual artists with nine performative artists (music, theatre, poetry) to develop a body of work around the idea that everything is connected– nothing in the world exists on its own: our existence, community, environment, health, and well-being, cultural practices, and the planet. Participants can view the artwork in person and experience the audio piece through QR codes. A small self-published catalog will be available. This experience is best enjoyed with headphones. If you do not have headphones please keep your volume low while in the exhibition space.
